About this video

When do hair transplant results grow in? Radio personality Axel Lowe shares his recovery timeline from the Anderson Center for Hair. He can already feel the tiny transplanted follicles filling in the areas that were thinning, and new growth typically arrives around the fourth month, with fuller, even-length results by month eight. His procedure took just a few hours (in Dr. Anderson’s office in the morning, home by early afternoon), and the sedation made it feel like 20 minutes. He was back to work the next day, simply avoiding heavy lifting and bending for about a week, with virtually zero downtime.

Now, I’m at this point where the hair is in there. When you look real close and you can probably see it from that camera. I can feel it. They’re in there. The tiny hairs all in the areas to where there wasn’t a lot of hair. Uh, I guess it’s a couple of months. And it’ll grow in and they say by the fourth month for some people and definitely by the eighth eighth month you’ll have all of that hair and your hair will all be the same length. I was in here at Dr. Anderson’s office in the morning. I was home by early afternoon. It was a few hours, but with the sedation it truly felt like 20 minutes. Um, so it’s going to go by fast in your mind and the next day there are people that go to work. I went to work and I just watched the exercise over the next week and didn’t do any heavy lifting or or bending over too much, but other than that it was just normal normal everyday living with zero pain.
