Today we’re going to cover a weird hair word. And that word is glabrous. Glabrous.

I’m sorry, glabrous. Now, glabrous is an adjective and is used to describe skin with no hair. The only areas on the human body that don’t have hair follicles, the only true glabrous areas are the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet, but we could use it colloquially to talk about a bald head.

That man has a glabrous scalp.
