Caught on the red carpet, John Cena talks about why he chose to be open about his hair restoration and scalp-care journey. He credits Dr. Ken Anderson of the Anderson Center for Hair, describes the ten months of scalp care he did before any treatment, and encourages others exploring their options that they are not alone.
Interviewer: Your hair transformation. What other changes has that success story inspired you to make as well?
John Cena: First of all, to be an advocate for scalp care and your options for a hair transplant. I want to shout out Dr. Anderson at the Anderson Center for Hair in Georgia. For ten months I did scalp care before I even talked about a treatment, to get my scalp in the best shape I could.
And then it was, if you think you still want to do it, we can do it. Anybody out there: you are not alone. There are options.
Look into any good place you want. Like I said, I have my guy. I am not ashamed of it, and I control the narrative.
So I can come out and say I did it.
I am happy with it. It is giving me confidence. It is maybe, possibly giving me more work.
So I am happy about it.
