On the red carpet for Peacemaker Season 2, John Cena was asked what his hair transformation has inspired him to change. His answer put scalp care first: ten months of it, at Dr. Ken Anderson’s insistence, before a hair transplant was ever on the table.
Cena has openly credited Dr. Anderson since going public with his procedure, and his message to anyone weighing the same decision is that they are not alone, that there are real options, and that the thing to do is research them properly.
Dr. Ken Anderson is a triple board-certified hair restoration surgeon at the Anderson Center for Hair, with offices in Atlanta and Alpharetta (Avalon), GA.
your hair transformation. What other changes has that success story inspired you to make as well? First of all, to be an advocate for uh scalp care and and your options for a hair transplant. I got to shout out Dr. Anderson over at Anderson Hair Institute in in Georgia. I got to shout out my guy for 10 months. I did scalp care before I even talked about a treatment. Get my scalp in the best shape I could. And then he was like, if you think you still want to do it, we can do it. To anybody out there, you’re not alone. There’s options. Check out any good place you want. Like I said, I got my guy. I’m not ashamed of it. And I’m never going to release anybody else’s opinion, but control the controllable. So I can come out and say like, I did it. I’m happy with it. It’s giving me confidence. It’s maybe possibly giving me more work. So I’m happy about it.
