Southside Steve Livestreams His Hair Restoration Surgery

You excited yes I’m very excited I’m looking forward to this Dr Anderson talks about density and for me I have what I would say is a full head of hair I have just like a spot like anybody else like with a little cck and and a part line that I wouldn’t mind thickening up and then right on the sides and in the front thickening it up so for me this is about density and getting back to that full head of hair that we all had when we were 18 years old so that’s why I’m doing it yep the area is all know we’re ready to do the surgery now we’ve got he’s watched the consent video we went to the photo studio to get his before pictures got he’s numbed up he’s not going to feel any of what’s about to happen and that’s why he he’s chosen we’re going to live stream it as you’re going to see me start the surgery here he’s going to be getting some new hair across the frontal hairline and a little bit in the back he’s got a little bit of loss in the back we’re going to take care of that today day and so it’s going to be pretty cool the principle of hair restoration for those watching is essentially men and women have a a permanent Zone in the back and sides of their head back here and we’re going to surgically remove some of that hair and divide it up these individual hairs Hair by hair under the microscopes behind me and then I’m going to make little tiny needle holes and they’re going to be transplanted up into the frontal hairline and they’re going to continue to grow in the frontal hairline as if they’re they don’t know they’ve been moved they’re going to grow as if they’re in the permanent Zone they’re impervious to the hormones that cause hair loss and so they’ll be there for life and it’s permanent hair so for life that’s right that’s what I’m all about he’s already had the anesthesia so we’re going to start the surgery and you’re going to see you’re not going to have literally any pain yeah I’m slightly funky shouldn’t be driving I’ve been assisted in the hallway cuz I went to a photo booth which is incredible it’s a professional photo booth to take the pictures I did have to help you know I needed help walking and now I’m starting to talk weird and there’s my photographer we got we all right so I’m going to take this needle here oh yeah I’m G to kind of jab you in the head to see if you feel it I’ll let you know let me know let me know if you cting crunch crunch feel yeah yeah I don’t feel thing you’re not kidding when you say the dentist is more painful than this would ever be oh yeah so I I I say the hygienist yeah SS great having your having your teeth cleaned I think is is definitely more discomforting and more of a of an event than than than this is going to be amen and I dig it because Dr Anderson normally jokes with me a little bit quite a little more serious when he’s doing the work and you got to respect that just kind of keep your head somewhat still oh shoot I’m moving what’s up Brian glad you’re watching Mike Wyatt yeah lose any hair cuz that hair is coming up front yeah all right now I’m do with a cutting we’re cutting and I don’t feel thing blood loss minimal you give more blood when you go to the Red Cross just a little Scar and this is one way to go this is the way I prefer to do it what is the other way Dr for let me get back there I’ll explain yeah explain it Dr Anderson’s going to let you know if you don’t want to do the incision because you do get a slight scar but for people like me that are never going to shave their head that have long hair want to keep long hair to me this is the better way to go but if you’re somebody that you like to cut your hair very short or you may be you know want to stay in style like that way short hair with a little bit of thickness on top you have an option where there’s no scars you don’t see it and again I’m watching this lovely show I’m seeing places I may never visit so I’m enjoying it all right so there there’s essentially two ways to do this one is to use this is a double-bladed scalpel it’s got two blades on there and we’re going to trim out a little piece of scalp from the permanent Zone and it does leave a little fine line linear scar that’s only going to be an issue if you like to cut your hair in military grade short haircuts I love our military one reason I didn’t join was the haircut I was looking for the Rambo division long hair Special Forces they didn’t offer it but I would have done it the other way let me get back here in a second we got to lower the table the other way to do this is to use we’ve got a robot and a different instruments it’s called folicular Unit exision something I’ve been doing for about 20 years and we we uses a small 1 mil mm or less punch and it extracts one follicle at a time and and it doesn’t leave that linear scar so you can wear military grade short haircuts high and tights I think they’re called and yeah and that’s where the free consultation comes in that’s why you have to go have issues too what would you say the percentage of girls that are thinning or losing hair oh I would say Fe hair loss in females peaks in incidents around the age of 50 okay and around 40% of women in that age group suffer from from hair loss it’s not as common you don’t see it in public as much just because you know it’s not really as socially appropriate for women to to have hair losses so they’ll cover it with scarves or other methods or they’ll pile their hair up and it tends to not really be so much of a receding hairline but more of a just sort of thinning on top right and so you don’t see it as often but it’s it’s a lot more common than you think yes so women men and again whether it just started whether you’re seeing it now you know in your 40s 50s and 60s where God forbid you’re a year away from graduating college and you’re seeing your hair thin and you’re like look man I haven’t even found my wife girlfriend I want my hair come seeing yeah so with men though the men hair loss and men I’ve got some 15 year-old boys in my practice wow that you know can you imagine being in high school having to deal with hair loss no that’s just too soon it’s absolutely not fair I agree so there it’s a shame but but you know typically the earliest it will start is around age 18 and so that’s why you know hair loss prevention and we’ve went over your prevention strategies many times hair loss prevention is is really critical because as I described earlier in this video the the hair transplant surgery is just a mirely and I use the word merely in a meaningful way here because it’s just a redistribution of what happens to be left and so it’s always important to try to Heap as much as possible because you’re always going to look better after a hair transplant if you start with more there you go so that and that’s what they can talk to about prevention whether it’s a laser cap whether it’s the ointments that you can rub into your hair and wash out in the morning even with all the filming and the kitson around and his catered lunch it’s 3:00 in the afternoon he’s all done let’s look at the the back of the scalp look down for me bud you you can really not tell that anything has occurred there’s nothing really to see there we we trim a tiny amount of hair the work is done than any hair even short hair would cover that up and then you can see the follicles were placed throughout the entire frontal hairline and we even placed some in here he’s started yeah a couple spots in the back here nothing too major but really if we chin up a bit just like that you can see the follicles are just packed in there couple little scabs there nothing to be concerned about but about the first inch all the way across strongly fortified so that he’s going to be able to continue to run lock this hairstyle comb it back and you know with confidence really been no and no more thinning love it
