About this video

Is a hair transplant painful? Radio personality Axel Lowe’s honest answer is no. He describes his procedure at the Anderson Center for Hair as painless and even entertaining, with great music and visuals to pass the time. Thanks to the anesthesia, he couldn’t feel the follicles being harvested from the back of his head. He went home with medication in case of discomfort, but says he never took a single dose.

The procedure was painless, was entertaining, had some great music, had some great view visuals, and uh like I said with the anesthesia, I couldn’t even tell what they were doing back there when they were harvesting that hair. Even post-surgery, when that initial anesthesia wears off, you have medications to take or medication if you feel discomfort, I never even took any of those medications.
